The Share the Care for Breast Cancer ™ program is a joint project between Greater San Diego Health Education (a non-profit corporation affiliated with Galloway Pharmacy) and the San Diego Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The program provides financial assistance for breast cancer treatment medications for San Diego county patients who are able to demonstrate financial need. This program provides assistance for patients with limited or no health coverage for their Breast Cancer treatment medications. There is an application process for patients wishing to receive medication assistance through the Share the Care for Breast Cancer program.

While initially funded by the Komen Foundation any patient or medical provider can help continue to fund the program at no cost to him or her self. When a patient or medical provider identifies themselves as wishing to participate in the Share the Care for Breast Cancer program any time they fill any prescription through Galloway Pharmacy 5% of the revenue from that prescription will automatically be donated to the Share the Care for Breast Cancer account, and the prescription will be delivered at no additional cost to their home or office.
