Galloway’s Medical Center Pharmacy is a specialty pharmacy providing service to hospices, institutions, skilled long term care facilities, and assisted living facilities. These patients require special attention because of compliance with both Federal and state laws regarding dispensing and storage of medications. Individual patient packaging is available for patient’s medications to ensure both compliance and to decrease the possibility of error by the nursing staff. Our consulting pharmacist is available to monitor patient’s drug therapy and support both the physician and nursing staff. Patient compliance program ensures the patient will receive the medication on time. Our delivery fleet covers all of San Diego and is available for any STAT deliveries. Since we are a locally owned pharmacy, there is someone there who cares about the patient and to be able to respond to the needs of the facilities administration.
